Galette des Rois and FAWCO talk
Join us, Saturday 13th of Janaury, for the annual Galette des Rois celebration and a FAWCO talk. This year's highlight will feature Asher Dewey (Evette’s son), who will present a video documenting his enriching experience in the FAWCO Youth Volunteer Program. I will also provide updates on recent FAWCO activities.

The next FAWCO Youth Cultural Volunteers Program 2024 is set to unfold in the picturesque landscapes of Scotland from June 28 to July 7, 2024, spanning nine days. Applications open on February 1, 2024, with space for up to 12 students. The program fee of £515 covers lodging, meals, local transportation, entrance fees, tours, and charitable donations. Inspiring Women Live!! All About Fashion
FAWCO's Inspiring Women magazine—All About Fashion! Is hosting a virtual celebration on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 7 pm CET. FAWCO women from around the world, featured in the September 2023 Women Talking About Fashion issue, will speak about their passion for fashion and the fashion industry. They will also host interactive sessions for you to ask your burning fashion questions and get (and maybe even share) tips too.

At COP28 - The Zayed Sustainability Prize for Climate Action was awarded to Kelp Blue, a company based in Namibia. One of the cofounders of Kelp Blue is Caroline Hooft-Slootweg, daughter of Carol Slootweg who is a member of AWC The Hague. Congratulations to Caroline and to Kelp Blue on a wonderful achievement and recognition for their work to re-wild the oceans through growing giant kelp.
