If you are doing any spring cleaning, and you find items in good condition that you no longer need, there might be someone else who could use them. La CLE is happy to accept donations of dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, towels and linens for the Maison des Parents. The volunteers at Les Blouses Roses need games, books, etc for their activities in the pediatric and geriatric hospitals and retirement homes. Resto Bebes distributes baby clothing as well as the baby bottles that AWG donates.
AWG makes financial contributions to local charities as well as international projects, but in order to make donations, we need to raise the funds. Have you thought about hosting an in-home lunch or dinner? What about another soup night? If you would be willing to host a soup night, or cook one of the soups to be served, please let us know. Our club is only as effective as its members.
The Heart Pillows we make and donate continue to be appreciated. We have received yet another note from a woman who wrote to thank us for our kindness, and to say that the Heart Pillow is very helpful, especially when she is resting or driving. If you have a friend or relative who could use one, let us know. Those we made in October and February are just waiting to be donate
