THANK YOU very much to those who joined us at the AWG-LR Quiz Night fundraiser last night at the beautiful home and garden of Sealia and Dan. To those of you who were not able to attend, we missed you, and appreciate your support! A big thank you goes to Dan and Sealia for their warm hospitality, and delicious culinary treats! Their sons did an amazing job of welcoming us and making sure our glasses were filled throughout the evening! Tom, the brilliant quiz master from The Shakespeare pub, stumped many of us with his American Foodie-themed quiz!
But the REAL winners are our friends and neighbors associated with Table d’Anouk. Many of you already know this wonderful, local NGO that feeds hundreds here in Montpellier every Monday evening, and you have volunteered with food prep on Monday afternoons in the kitchen near the Corum. You all helped us reach and exceed our fundraising goal which was 450€.
